Uruguay is a small country located between two giants, and though it has certain similarities with its two neighbors, Argentina and Brazil, Uruguayans are very patriotic and clear about the fact that they are not Argentine, though they may speak Spanish with a similar accent to their neighbors. And that´s not all: they also cook roast like no one; and their beaches have nothing to envy with any other country. With a rich and varied landscape, Uruguay will not leave you indifferent. It is therefore not surprising that it is home of poets and artists such as Mario Benedetti and Carlos Gardel.
