It's no surprise that the magic of Peru is attracting thousands of tourists every year. This country preserves the ruins of the main pre-Columbian culture of South America; they arelocated in the city of Cuzco, known as the Archaeological Capital of America and declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Peru also has the fascinating Machu Picchu, "the Lost City of the Incas". Other points of interest are Lima, the current capital of the country, Arequipa, "The White City", famous for its ashlar stone buildings and the so called Callejon de Huaylas (the "Peruvian Switzerland"), with its glaciers and snow-covered mountains. Awesome!
