The building that once housed the workshops that tinned the tableware of the Royal House owes its name to this past, evident throughout the property. According to a typewritten document researched at the Lisbon Studies Library, this building was the former home of a tinning workshop founded by the Marquis of Pombal to tin the tableware of the Royal House — 'the doors each had a royal crown and the following inscription: Officina da Real Casa'. Our 11 apartments are carefully designed to provide maximum comfort and enjoyment. Each features unique decor, incorporating original materials like wood and tin from the 'Officina da Real Casa, ' respecting the building's history. Artwork and state-of-the-art equipment complete an unforgettable stay.
