Safe and quiet area. Easy parking.

The property was great and in a super location. The only thing I missed was a window.

Good place

Great concept of taking an old, existing building & repurposing it. We arrived just before the employee at the front desk was ready to leave. So, when we found that there was no blanket for the pull-out sofa, we were out of luck. We had to improvise. Other than that, it was pleasant. Just wish there had been breakfast.

We had a short stay, just overnight, but it was very comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly and a late check in was no problem.

I enjoyed my room especially that it didnt have windows, i felt i had all the privacy i needed especially after working 36 hours straight as a CNA. I appreciate the fact that it felt safe and was so quiet. Will definitely be coming back if am working close by.

Great place to stay, has everything you need!

We met friends here for the weekend to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday 🥳 The staff had decorated our room and had a bottle of wine and some snacks/chocolate waiting in our room. The rooms were clean and have everything we needed to fill at home! ❤️ Will definitely be back.

Loved the unique vibe of the hotel. It was wild to walk the hallways of a school but enter a nice hotel room. Kitchenette was great & the beds were comfortable. Nice staff.

No Windows

I had never stayed in a room with no windows, kinda felt trapped

We plan to return when we are in the area.

Front desk staff were very nice. Room was clean and suited the purpose. Coffee pot had to be moved to use due to cord not being long enough to plug into outlet. Every noise in hallway and front desk echoed and magnified down the hall and into the room. Not the quietest or best place in Leavenworth but served its purpose and was clean.

This is a unique and interesting hotel. It's a converted Catholic high school built in the early 1930s. The gym and auditorium are still here and used from time to time. They have roller skates you can check out some days to roller skate in the gym. At the front desk, they have some yearbooks and other very interesting books about the history of the school. Despite what it may say online, there is no "grab and go" breakfast, although they have coffee (Keurig) available around the clock at the desk. For an excellent breakfast in a great setting, The Depot is just a few blocks West.

Very neat old property that has been updated. Right in downtown and I was very pleased with service, room and staff. Will stay there again for sure.

Love the hotel as how it looks and setup. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The only down fall is that walls and ceilings are paper thin. You can hear everything out side the door or rooms around you.

An interesting concept converting a former school into a hotel. Practicality was not considered and a lot of basic expectations were not met. There is no elevator, so we trekked old stairs daily to the third floor. No washcloths were provided so I had to go to the front desk to request them. Don't bother going before 9 AM though as there is no staff there prior to 9 AM. The towels were low to poor quality, not what you would expect for the price we paid. Only 2 hangers in the closet - we stayed 4 nights for a family event and had clothing we wished to hang. Again, a trip to the front desk to request hangers. A full kitchen was nice and needed for this trip. However, did they have giant design it? I am average height, yet the bottom of the wall mounted microwave was at the top of my head. No way you can see into the microwave. Fortunately, I was only heating water. This could be a bad burn if someone is reaching for a hot plate that you cannot see! I prepared food in the kitchen, yet there was no dish soap or hand soap in order to wash my hands. I just purchased my own. There was one dishwasher tablet provided, yet I did not use enough dishes to warrant running the dishwasher. I understand it is an old building. Yet, we noticed several safety concerns. Specifically, the handrail going from the second floor to the back landing is very loose and not fully attached. An accident waiting to happen! The bed was very comfortable. Will we stay here again? Not likely.

This hotel is staffed by the nicest people you can imagine. Responsive, helpful and full of local and area information.

Great idea but needs maintenance and cleaning.

Waited 20 minutes at front desk for someone to show up to check me in. The kitchen area was very dirty, sticky surfaces and drawer handles. No kitchen towels or dish cloth. No kitchen soap or cleaning products. Dishes looked dirty. Slats on doors to cabinets and closets were broken in the living area. Furniture was scratched. Checked the front desk 4 times to discuss my issues and no one was there from 5:30pm-8:15pm.

Great value, large rooms and bathrooms. Nice mini kitchen.

Only one complaint. We should have asked for a room away from the desk and bar area. We heard people talking loudly until around midnight. Also we heard people outside our window. They must have been at the pickle ball court outside our window. Therefore, our night was rather restless

Fun and Quirky

I loved staying here, it is In the heart of old downtown. A little quirky and fun. Everything is new and clean. The hotel does not have an elevator due to the historic nature of the building, but there are rooms available with an access ramp.

Very fun place to stay. I really enjoyed the chalkboard and the environment of an old-school change to a hotel.

This is not a hotel they play basketball at all hours of the day and night along with roller skating! So forget sleeping well or try to take a nap during the day. This is a kids hang out.

This hotel was unsafe, unstaffed, and smelled like garbage throughout the building. We contacted the property to ask for a refund since we were completely unable to stay in our room. They refused to provide one. Our family arrived on Christmas day to a hotel that was totally unstaffed. There wasn't even a phone number posted at the desk. We got into the room by downloading an app (guess it was a good thing we had a phone). Our room (which had no windows) had several problems. Loud water draining into a utility closet in our room constantly, a dishwasher that wouldn't stop beeping, neighbors blasting music, and open alcohol left in the fridge. I had to walk up and down the hallways (that smelled like trash) to find a phone number. I called the number about four times before it finally offered a voicemail. I left a voicemail explaining the issues. Our call was not returned. About 45 minutes later, we left the hotel. The front door to the hotel was completely open. No key access required. Anyone could have wandered in (this was at 10pm at night) and right past the unstaffed desk to go anywhere in the building.

Good basic room

Basic lodgings, for a good price, unique property, room kind of felt like a single occupancy dorm room, not sure it wasn't in its past, not a bad thing, had everything I needed. Breakfast was just basic grab bag items, there is a parking lot in back so don't feel like you need to park out front on the street.

Beautiful friendly hotel

When arriving at the front desk the staff was super friendly and helpful. The staff let us know the best place to park, asked any local questions we had, and showed us right to our room. The room was beautiful and clean. Sleeping was very comfortable. We had fun in the game room/basketball court! Would highly recommend the stay

We appreciated the large room for our family of five (king bed, queen bed and sofa bed). Large but unusual room that had chalkboards along one wall. Nice kitchen area. Plenty of parking behind hotel. We were charged an amount on our credit card at check-in even though we had paid thru expedia (BUT this charge was removed from our credit card statement so maybe it was a damage deposit of some kind? idk) Breakfast offerings could be greatly improved - was just prepackaged muffins and cartons of OJ. But overall, the beds were comfortable & we could all stay together in one room so we'd stay again.

People upstairs were running around till after midnight. The hallway coming into the building was filthy. My room had no windows which i did not care for. Check out with paying with Expedia was terrible they kept telling me i owed them over $200. I showed them my receipt and they just muffled something. Will not stay there again.

Did not like not having a door between the bathroom and bedroom. The squeaky floors were also an issue during the night.

Other than a lack of elevator, this hotel was perfect! The staff was so friendly and helpful! We had the double room suite in the chapel. It was huge and so clean. The room was quiet and the beds very comfortable. Would definately recommend this as a place to stay!

The hotel was really clean. No information about the hotel in the room. No instructions about the tv. Hated that the bedrooms in the suite always locked if you shut the bedroom doors and you had to use your key card to get in. Had to pre check in for everyone staying in the room and then got to the hotel and was told they did not have access to that information when we got there. Also tried to charge me for the room when I had prepaid with Expedia.

So unique and very nice! The staff were incredibly professional and friendly!

It was a unique set up but the shower was horrible, the towels were rough and in bad condition. The front desk was less than welcoming and breakfast was non-existent. Would not stay again.

I liked staying at Leavenworth Local, Trademark Collection by Wyndham. It was quiet and different from any other place I have stayed during my visits to Leavenworth. It felt like home. I disliked that the room wasn't as clean as I expected (as former housekeeper). I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Worth to stay this place

It was very interesting hotel that was high school in old day. But it was very well renovations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was worth the stay.

Unique, modern, and clean hotel in downtown Leavenworth. Friendly staff that got us an early check in! Locally brewed Keurig coffe in the room was a nice touch. Easy and quick check in.

* the room smelled * the stove and counter was not that clean * I had to go to the front desk to ask for a roll of toilet paper * 2nd night stay, in the next room over had a family that had kids that was extremely routey which made it difficult to fall a sleep. The kids stayed up to midnight. I call down to the front desk and supposedly they called the family. * I get home and check my bank account and noticed that they over charged me of almost $200 more for two nights. I was not happy at all. Will not stay there again.

Liked that the rooms were clean. There are no elevators and was traveling with a handicapped person. Their site indicates complimentary breakfast but we got coffee and a package of oatmeal.

A decent stay

The staff was super friendly and professional. The location was clean, safe, and close to everything. The internet was great the entire time. However, I was there over a week and never got room service and breakfast was hit or miss. No consistency there.

I didn’t realize it was the old high school my husband had attended when I booked it. He thought it was a little weird staying there, but enjoyed it. It is a lovely facility. You need to know that the sitting areas pictured with the rooms are not IN the rooms you book. For us, two rooms shared an enclosed sitting area, which I found uncomfortable when someone I didn’t know was in the other room. I don’t mind having a common area for several rooms, but I booked our room thinking I had a place to sit comfortably within our own room. Also , our particular room only had one small window high up on the wall, covered with a blackout shade, so no outside light during the day. If a window is important to you, and you are on the first floor, make certain to ask for one. We were not offered one when we checked in, but my sister-in-law was and she checked in after us. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and we slept great.

Wouldn’t stay here again.

Upon arrival - the hotel wanted to charge a $100/day fee for incidentals (!!!) which I thought I’d successfully negotiated to $75. Nope - they charged our card for the fee AND the room - even though I’d prepaid for the room thru this app. We got to our room, and it was not the room I booked. The manager was friendly, apologized and changed our room. She told us to let her know about the cleanliness of our new room… when we got in to the bathroom, there was hair on the sink, in the shower and feces on the inside of the toilet. She immediately came to clean it herself but it was gross. The “breakfast” was broken up granola bars, cold Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches that you heat up in your room and tiny one-bite muffins 😂 This property needs to humble itself on that daily incidentals charge 😂

Night staff was insufficient

Very cool, novel property. It is an old Catholic school converted to a motel. Rooms are huge, but sparsely furnished. Gym is a huge bonus. Very friendly staff.

Was pleased after the sticker shock. Expected alot more for 180 dollars a night. However the room was nice and staff super friendly. Would stay again if i had too, however not for 180.

The suite was wonderful !

The hotel is a renovated high school - an awesome old brick building that is quite charming.

Sleeping quarters and bedding excellent. Room lacked natural lighting thus very dark w/o artificial lights. We purchased a night light that made it a little better. My wife likes going to sleep earlier than I. The sitting area was just outside the room and shared with an adjacent room. I'd call it a semi-suite. Nice, fully stocked kitchenette, smaller bathroom counter top by sink. Lacked drawer storage in bedroom. Recommend the owners replace the standard switches with illuminated switches and illuminated wall sockets.

Great hotel-checkin sucked

Place is pretty cool. Bed was super comfy. Room was large. We had the very first room so you could hear the front desk and the ice machine. Also, check in was horrendous as we got there at 4 and our room wasnt ready. But they checked in 4 other groups while we had to wait.

Dance Competition weekend

It ended up being an okay stay, we stayed on the 3rd floor and found out they don’t have elevators so we had to lug all our stuff up multiple flights of stairs. Floors have been redone and aren’t even and are creeky. Our room had a “tv/lounge area” that we shared with another room- which was kind of odd. We never saw any other people except the girl at check in which kinda creeped me out. High ceilings and room was chilly, never heard the heat kick on before we fell asleep.

It's a lovely facility in a nice area. Iespecially liked the kitchen area as i was staying more than just one night and it was very convenient. I would definitely stay there again.

Awesome newly renovated hotel

The hotel was very nice and easy to book. When we got there, check in was easy and fast. The front desk is available 24-7 and they were very sweet to speak with. Bree was extremely helpful and made our entire weekend so easy. We will definitely be back! The hotel has a bar area open from 3-12 which was clean and had a good variety. Very good choice in the Leavenworth area!

Bring earplugs

Was spending the weekend in KC and found this hotel and thought it was different with it being a converted school. Service was good but room wasn't particularly clean, trash on the trash can under the sink and looked like shower was used by a yeti, full of hair. I was in a room behind an extra set of doors but the rooms do not have soft close doors and I was constantly woken by doors slamming. All sounds travel thru the building making it very loud.

Cool repurpose of an old school

This was such a unique experience...my husband and I wanted a quick get away for our anniversary weekend. We spent most of our time in nearby Weston ( just 15 mins up the road) but the atmosphere of this fun and unique hotel was PERFECTION! Our room was on the 3rd floor (only downfall was no elevator) and was beautiful. Way more than we expected. The staff was great and very helpful as well. Free breakfast was simple and easy to bring back to the room if desired, and a bar was available too. The high schools gym is still in tact and they had basketball, corn hole and fusbol, so cool. We will most definitely be back and will bring friends with us. Don't miss out on this opportunity, you won't regret it.

Awesome rooms, full indoor game area.

We stayed in a King suite, wow, so nice. So much room, the size of a 1 bedroom apartment. The King size bed was so comfy. We had a very big kitchenette. The bathroom was very large. What an awesome way to repurpose and old high school build in 1912. It has part of a full size gym left open so you could almost play a half court game. They have Corn Hole boards and 3 shuffle boards and tables to play cards or hang out and drink a few cold ones. Bar open from 3 to 10PM. Breakfast from 6 AM to 10 AM. They turned the classrooms into beautiful room. The Grand Suite has 2 separate bedrooms each with their own bathroom and a kitchen.. All the King suites have kitchenettes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very cool place to stay. We will be staying here the next time we visit Leavenworth.
