VOI Kiwengwa Resort is an Italian Management Club, located on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Eastern coast of Zanzibar; it lies at only 50 minutes from Stone Town, 45 km from the airport.
Wisely blending modern comforts and local tradition, this village retains a vivid “African” style, emphasized by a spectacular wooden structure in “casuarinas” and “makuti”, a fiber obtained from the palm, that hosts the hall and the common services.
VOI Kiwengwa Resort is located on the most beautiful coast of the island, along a stunning stretch of white sand which expands for over 5 km. It is the ideal setting for a relaxing and funny holiday in touch with the sea. The beach is equipped with sunbeds, located in the palm grove. Beach towels are available at the beach and at the swimming pool.
The 200 rooms are housed in two-storey villas, laid out in a wide tropical garden.
Standard Rooms are very comfortable and equipped in local style furniture characterized by fresh pastel shade. Comfort rooms are completely renovated.
Both Standard and Comfort rooms feature air conditioning, hairdryer, mini - fridge (water provided every day), bathroom, terrace or balcony. Check-in from 12.00, check-out until 11.00.

During the day American coffee, the, natural mineral water, selected soft drinks and juices from dispenser at Nanga bar (main bar) and Baobab bar (pool/beach bar)
At Baobab Bar: from 10:00 till 18:30 house-wine, local beer.
At Nanga Bar: from 10:00 till 24:00 house-wine, local beer and from 18:00 till 24:00 selected cocktails and local spirits.
At charge: espresso and cappuccino, canned and bottled drinks, ice creams, branded spirits and all alcoholic beverages before 10:00 and after 24:00.
AI begins with lunch and ends with breakfast.
HBB formula: buffet breakfast and dinner with unlimited beverages (water, draft soft drinks, house wine and local beer) at dinner. Guests can enjoy a wide fresh-water swimming pool, with a new special area for kids and completed by a Beauty Center “Mchaichai Spa” (upon payment).
TV- Sat lounge, a small library, boutiques and a meeting room for up to 20 persons are also available.

Transfer from the airport on request with a fee. The resort features one tennis court and one five-a-side football court (light for night play on charge, 10USD per hour).

One well-equipped Diving & Kitesurf center is available upon payment close to the resort (external management, opening does not depend on the resort).
Twice a week, a disco night with music and lot of fun.
