Located just a few metres from the Villamarta Theatre stands Tandem Solera, a beautiful building that witnessed the birth of Manuel Lora Tamayo, Minister of Education and Rector of the Complutense University. This courtyard house is distinguished by its traditional ashlar facade in the classic style, facing Las Naranjas street, originally built in 1589.
The building, a reflection of bourgeois architecture in Jerez, takes its name from "solera, " one of the traditional methods of aging wine. This is the inspiration behind its 20 suites, adorned with colourful images of local wineries.
