Marriott's Mountain Valley Lodge at Breckenridge

I did like how the property was easily accessible to the ski slope and to Main Street. It's not in the middle of everything so it's quiet. My room was fully equipped with a kitchen and a balcony. I will definitely stay here again.

Other than parking, great place to get away and have the local mountains by to go snowboarding or skiing. Downtown was beautiful and walkable

Their laundry services were not working during our stay. We had to go to another building to get our laundry done, very inconvenient.

I felt welcomed and the directions given to me for getting around the property were so helpful. The space itself was perfect.

Fabulous Stay!

I can't wait to go back. Because of off-season and a lower count of guests they gave me an upgrade to a top floor room which I did not request. The Marriott knows how to take care of their guests!

Beautiful place to stay, had a great room with a great view. Walking paths behind the hotel. Great. Walking distance to downtown on Main Street. Bed was comfortable.

Emma and Brittany were terrific! Professional, gracious, polite and extremely helpful. The room was immaculate and the view was incredible. I will definitely stay here again!

The one thing is the pool and hot tub are under renovation. So nothing big. Excellent surroundings and location.

Affordable decent and very nice hotel. My kids enjoyed the Game Room and the fitness room.

Unresolved Billing Issue. I booked my room expecting to pay using a gift voucher. When I tried, Mariott said already payed through Expedia so I could NOT use voucher. Neither Mariott nor Expedia would resolve it so I was in the middle I was holding the bag. Too bad for me. No help at all from M or E.!!! NONE

Nice hotel but no AC

Reception great and good location but no AC! Room far too warm in summer months. Fans provided but in 2024 when spending so much you expect AC

Amazing!

The room was very niceand clean and our view was outstanding. The parking was horrible and far from our building. It made unloading and loading our car very difficult. We also wanted to enjoy the patio area with fireplace...they were completely out of propane. This was disappointing as well.

Marriott Mountain Valley lodge was good stay but could have been better if not for the construction which made things "interesting." At the same time, it didn't take too much away from our stay once we figured things out, how to park, how to load/unload, etc. Breakfast wasn't great for the price, consisting of what was a lot like a Burger King breakfast croissant, offered because the kitchen was closed for renovation. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. That all said, renovations have to be allowed and the location of the hotel was great as was our mountain view. The construction was a little bit of a hassle but the property is excellent and was also VERY well priced being that it was the shoulder (mud) season (early June). I wouldn't hesitate to book the hotel again with the hope that renovations were complete.

Close to everything just a walk away

The property was undergoing renovations, so access to the hotel room with luggage was difficult and parking was in another building, but it was indoors and free. Communications around the pool maintenance was non existent and the man in charge was an idiot.

The property was amazing the view out my window was awesome but the property was under construction and the paint smell was intense

Great place to stay!

It was a beautiful town! Shopping and restaurants were an easy walk . Mountains were snow covered and beautiful!!!

It was a nice stay! I ended up having to get 911 called for myself because I was not feeling well. The desk staff were very supportive of my needs and tried to keep the nosey people from invading my space. I’m sorry if I made any of your staff nervous.

The location is second to none in Breckenridge, ski right off the bottom of peak nine to the bridge, take off your skis and walk inside. Attached to main street station, the property is the perfect place to walk to everything in town. Once you arrive, no need to get back in the car at all.

Amazing hotel. The staff were lovely. The location of the hotel was so close to town. We loved walking everywhere. It’s also a ski in ski out. Right downstairs you can rent all your ski equipment which makes it so convenient. My son enjoyed the game room. Some fun surprises were the guided hikes and yoga classes, which I will be trying next time.

I’d stay here again. Our suite was clean and had a view of the pond. Front desk staff was so helpful and friendly. Parking was a lil bit annoying to get to but it wasn’t too bad. I just struggled dressed for a wedding walking to the garage.

Incredible front desk staff and check in. Great gym. Property is older, room had no curtain over large window and so it never got dark at night and the sun blazed in at Dawn.

We came to Breck for a special birthday weekend celebration. After a very disappointing experience with my original booking at the DoubleTree we quickly found this place last minute and it was beyond fabulous. The weekend was saved. I would highly recommend this property for your stay in Breck. We will be back.

Great Property and Location to Main Street!!!!

This property is amazing. It is so nicely decorated and in a perfect location. The views are about as good as you can get. I do want to note for anyone staying at any property there are very few properties that have air conditioning in the rooms, including this one. They fortunately did provide a fan and we were able to leave the balcony screen door open otherwise it would've been quite stuffy. The CO weather has changed from when all these were built and they should no longer rely on "natural air conditioning" aka open the screen door. Other than this the property is beautiful including all the amenities and the associates are extremely friendly and helpful.

One of the attractions of the property was the pool and hot tub - but they were closed, without notice, for a portion of my stay. Then, one afternoon during my stay, I returned from my hike to find the dishwasher removed from the kitchen completely. I called the front desk and was told they were replacing it - I had no notice that an engineering crew were entering my room and had left personal property and garments out that I would have safeguarded had I known. I also was out of the utility of the dishwasher.

We were assigned alternate parking - inconvenient but only 2 buildings away .

It was amazing! Easy parking, full size kitchen with plates, utensils, etc. it even provided free laundry! Walking distance of shopping and dining! There’s this French pastry place with amazing coffee and raisin swirls! Would come back again!

The check-in process was messy, 2 of our 3 rooms were not ready (no sheets on bed, furniture not assembled). They then checked us into someone else's room! We opened the door and peoples suitcases were inside, very unprofessional! Outside of that, the property is in a great location and the heated spa and pool were very nice.

So close to so many good shops food and entertainment!

The accommodation has a great location to get onto the slopes. We stayed for 12 nights in total. However, we were kept awake by people being loud and making noise during the night, this happened for the majority of our stay and more reflected the poor sound installation between rooms. Lots of voices, banging of doors during the night and early hours. We also had a open plan Studio with a very loud fridge freezer. The lodge also did not have a complimentary shuttle service for guests which we have had at other hotels in Breckenridge. Staff were very friendly, but the lodge needs a general refresh to update furniture, fittings, carpets etc.

This was our first trip to Breckenridge so we didn't know what to expect. Waking up and looking out on the balcony, we were surprised to see all the skier's lined up for lessons right out the back door of property. Next we found that we could walk everywhere on Main Street because it was right out the back door. The heated pool and hot tubs were really fun in the snow. The hotel has social hours with different themes - hot dogs, smore's or wine and cheese. Parking was free in a heated garage just a few feet from front door. The beds were very comfortable and having a full kitchen was very convenient for the times when you didn't want to visit one of many great restaurant's that are in walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all - we will stay here again.

We liked the location, easy walking distance to town. Arrived at 3pm but room wasn't ready so had to wait an hour. The space in our unit was adequate. The bed & bedding very clean & comfortable. Rugs are dirty. Some employees speak zero English. While we were inside unit, employee barged into room without knocking. Very unsettling!! Parking situation is limited and extremely tight. No large vehicle could fit. Be aware that Oct-Nov many restaurants & shops are closed (mud season?) We arrived early Nov and weather was fabulous. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The people working there could not be more congenital and helpful. The location is IDEAL. Clean rooms. Beautiful setting and grounds. Highly recommend this resort for people wanting to be close to the action.

It was a beautiful place to stay. It was exceptionally clean and very peaceful. Everything was so easy to get to and if you didn’t want to walk you can easily just use the bus system which is free. Definitely stay there again!

Location and views from our room was great. Loved having a kitchen and pull out bed. I just wished i was told that the rate would change for our last day.

I so enjoyed our stay at this lodge. Personnel were very friendly and eager to make our time there most pleasant. Our room was beyond nice. It had every amenity, a well equipped kitchen, eating area, living room and very comfortable bed. As the photo shows, this was our view, both at the creek below and the mountains! It was centrally located and we never needed to use my car at all. Definitely recommend that you stay here!

It was close to a lot of things. Parking was tuff for a big truck.

Pool Closed and Boiler Issues

We booked this hotel because we stayed here before and loved the pool and hot tubs. When we arrived we were told that it was closed for the month. We were also told that the boiler was having issues so we didn’t have hot water for most of Thursday.

Convenient and accommodating

The Marriott Mountain Valley Lodge at Breckenridge was a very nice place to stay. Very convenient to walking around Breckenridge. The hotel was kind enough to provide a canister of O2 when as I was having a difficult time breathing in the high altitude. I would stay here again.

The property was very nice but we ended up staying in the basement despite that I booked it very early and requested to be at least in the second floor.

People at the front desk not at all friendly yet asking for tips. GREAT location if you want to ski. Studio room looks MUCH bigger in photos than in person. zero housekeeping the entire time we were there. Coffee amenities really old. walls paper thin and we were right next to the laundry room, unfortunately.

The property is well located. Easy access to town and the mountain. The free underground parking was an excellent amenity. The kitchen in the suite was fully stocked for cooking.

What a Disappointment

We stayed at Mountain Valley Lodge two years ago, and were excited to stay again. Boy, what a disappointment. We requested a room with a view two months in advance, but were given a view of the roof and what looked like a smoke-stack chimney. The room was dirty. The kitchen floor had crumbs, and there were 3 flies in the room flying around. The room smelled old and moldy. The towels smelled old and like faint cigarette smoke, and the "clean" sheets had crumbs in them. We complained and were given actual clean sheets and new towels, but quite unnerving and doesn't give you much confidence about the cleanliness of anything else. The property is really going downhill. Many things are just old and run-down. The carpet is disgusting - dirty, smelly, and just plain old. Really, the only good thing about this place is the location - 3 minute walk to downtown Breck. We will not be returning. Bummer. We had to check out 1 day early due to an emergency. I told them that and the guy just looked at me with a blank stare and said ok. He didn't ask how our stay was, or if there was anything they could do. He just said he'd note that we'd left early. He wrote it on a sticky note. Again, we won't be back.

Confused with parking lots. The parking lot was far away and had no idea which lot was there’s Even though there was a parking lot right next door, they didn’t clearly explain why we had to park far away

A bargain rate for a huge room with a kitchen. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, parking was secure, there was close access to rustic (unpaved) as well as paved trails and to downtown Breckenridge shopping. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.
