Herdade Ribeira de Borba

Herdade Ribeira de Borba is a working farm, offering rural tourism in a traditional countryside retreat. You can enjoy Montado’s beautiful scenery from the spacious terrace and 2 outdoor pools.

Herdade’s accommodations includes 2 independent houses, 4 suites with living rooms, 2 double rooms and 2 bungalows. Each one is decorated in traditional style and some have wooden beamed ceilings and a fire place. They all open up to terraces and gardens.

As part of the experience, you join in daily farming activities. Bikes can be borrowed from the farm free of charge, allowing you to explore the countryside.

Herdade Ribeira de Borba also includes a multipurpose room for conferences. WiFi is available in public areas and is free of charge.

The Herdade is located 3.1 mi away from Vila Viçosa, which features the Palácio Ducal castle and the Marble Museum. The historical villages of Estremoz, Redondo, and Monsaraz are nearby. Barragem do Alqueva Lake is only 15 minutes’ drive away.
