Located next to Odivelas Dam’s Reservoir, this Alentejo property has a variety of farm animals. Horse riding and windsurfing are possible, at an extra charge. Markadia also features a swimming pool, mini-golf course and a tennis court.

Featuring a private bathroom, each air-conditioned apartment also comes with an equipped kitchen and TV. The large apartments have a dining area.

Guests are welcome to cook their own meals in the kitchen at their disposal, featuring all the necessary utensils. Also available is an on site restaurant, where guests can taste traditional Portuguese meals.

A children’s playground is also available, for the younger guests of the Markadia. The resort also includes a grocery store and a snack-bar. Bird watching is a popular activity in the area, due to the variety of species that inhabit the surroundings.

Ferreira do Alentejo is a 25-minute drive from the property, while Alvito is a 26-minute drive. Beja is a 45-minute drive away, while the city’s airport is a 41-minute drive. Lisbon International Airport is a 105-minute drive from Markadia.
