The Naika is not recommended for families with young children. There are no lifts and therefore the Naika is not recommnded for people with walking difficulties.

Location

The Naika, set in it’s own private gardens, is part of the Hotel Gabarda Complex and is situated at approx 250 metres from the main part of the complex. It is approx 200 metres (2 min walk) from the main award-winning Palma Nova beach, where you will find a variety of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. It is just a 15 min walk along the promenade to the lively resort of Magalluf, where all the disco bars, clubs and vibrant night-life can be found. Palma Nova hosts a variety of amenities for sports such as diving, gyms, tennis, football and rugby. Nearby are many attractions such as water parks, mini golf and dinner shows. Within 5 mins walk are two large supermarkets for all your self-catering needs. The bus stop is 300 metres from the hotel door. Palma Airport is approx 20km (20 min drive) & Palma City centre is approx 14km.

On the main complex, at the Hotel Gabarda there is: 24hr Reception with English-speaking staff (Hotel Gabarda) 24hr Lounge Bar serving hot and cold meals 24 hours, Swimming pools, Pool-side snack bars, Jacuzzi, Sun terraces, Pool tables, 24hr Money exchange, Internet access, Safety deposit box rental, Excursion booking and car hire ….

On arrival between May and October please check-in at the Hotel Gabarda, where reception is located for the whole complex.

Apartment Facilities

Spread over 3 floors, this picturesque building, offers spacious one bed-roomed apartments (that will comfortably sleep up to 4 people) and studios (that will sleep up to 3 people). Each apartment/studio has a lounge with 2/3 twin beds, a fully equipped American-style kitchen with electric kettle, toaster etc, a wardrobe, free WIFI, satellite T.V with flat screen T.V, ceiling fan, full bathroom, and private balcony or terrace. The apartments have the addition of a separate bedroom with twin beds. Maid service, change of towels and bed-linen is included.

Bed & Breakfast

Self Catering clients also have the option of booking with breakfast included. Breakfast is served on the pool-side terrace or in the lounge bar at the main complex building (Hotel Gabarda). Freshly cooked with British products. Choice of the Gabarda Complex’s famous full English, continental style, or cereal with fresh fruit.

THE BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE

You can book Bed & Breakfast which is served at the Hotel Gabarda. Our breakfast is legendary ! Not just for the food, but for the “personality” behind it. Our Irish cook, Christine is like no other. No other hotel of our category gives you a breakfast, freshly cooked to your order, like this. You have a choice of the famous “Full English” (made with British products), or, if you prefer a lighter breakfast, you can have either “Continental” style or cereals with fresh fruit. To maintain the prices as low as possible for you; the guest, the breakfast price does not include drinks. But at € 1,50 for a mug of English tea or an Espresso Latte it’s not going to break the bank !

Breakfast is served either on the sun terrace or around the bar lounge. You can even take it to your apartment if you want – It’s your holiday !

And here’s the best part…. Breakfast at the Gabarda is served until 11.00 am. Enjoy a lie-in.

Facilities

During the Winter (November to April), the Naika Apartments & Studios are designed for the independent traveller on an apartment only basis. All pools, bars, 24 hour reception and additional services are closed between November and April but the apartments do have some Additional Winter Facilities included in the price. See below!

Apartment Facilities

Spread over 3 floors, this attractive building, mostly refurbished in 2013, offers spacious one bed-roomed apartments that will comfortably sleep up to 4 people and studios for a maximum of 3. Each apartment has a lounge with 2 sofa beds, a fully equipped American-style kitchen with electric kettle, toaster etc, a separate bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe and ceiling fan, full bathroom, and a good sized private balcony. The studios have all of the above except a separate bedroom. Maid service and change of towels is included (every other day in Summer and once per week in the Winter).

Additional Winter Facilities : From November to April inclusive, each apartment will also be equipped with satellite TV, FREE WI-FI plus a microwave oven.
