In Summer the emphasis is on the personal touch and superb service to give you a guaranteed home from home experience on a sunshine holiday. In Winter the Martinez Apartments are perfect for the independent traveller visiting Palma Nova and Mallorca out of peak season. Ideal for couples, the Martinez Apartments pride themselves on a high percentage of clients that return year after year. The Martinez is not recommended for families with young children during the peak summer months or for people with reduced mobility at any time.

Location

The Martinez is approx 350 meters (3 min walk) from the main award-winning Palma Nova beach, there is everything you need right on your doorstep with supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, medical centres, sports centre… in the immediate area. For the Summer party goers the apartments are just a 20 minute walk from the centre of the lively resort of Magalluf, where all the disco bars, clubs and vibrant night-life can be found. Depending upon the season, Palma Nova hosts a variety of amenities for sports such as diving, gyms, tennis, football and rugby with many attractions such as water parks, mini golf and dinner shows nearby. There are two large supermarkets within 5 minutes walk which are open year round for all your self-catering needs. The bus stop is 200 meters from the door. Palma Airport is approx 20km (20 min drive) and Palma City centre is approx 14km.

Facilities

From May to October, in the sister Hotel Gabarda (50 metres), there is a 24hr Reception with English-speaking staff, 24hr Lounge Bar, serving hot and cold meals, swimming pools, pool-side snack bar, jacuzzi, sun terraces, pool tables, 24hr currency exchange, internet access (payable locally), safety deposit box rental, excursion booking and car hire.

During the Winter, the Martinez is designed for the independent traveller on an apartment only basis. All pools, bars, 24 hour reception and additional services are closed between November and April but the apartments do have some Additional Winter Facilities included in the price. See below!

Apartment Facilities

Spread over 3 floors, this attractive building, refurbished in 2009, offers spacious one bed-roomed apartments that will comfortably sleep up to 3 people. Each apartment has a lounge with 1 sofa beds, a fully equipped American-style kitchen with electric kettle, toaster etc, a separate bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe and ceiling fan, full bathroom, and a good sized private balcony. All apartments have air conditioning and heating. Maid service and change of towels is included (every other day in Summer and once per week in the Winter).

Additional Winter Facilities : From November to April inclusive, each apartment will also be equipped with satellite TV, FREE WI-FI plus a microwave oven.

THE BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE (May to October inclusive)

You can book Bed & Breakfast which is served at our sister Hotel Gabarda. Our breakfast is legendary ! Not just for the food, but for the “personality” behind it. Our Irish cook, Christine is like no other. No other hotel of our category gives you a breakfast, freshly cooked to your order, like this. You have a choice of the famous “Full English” (made with British products), or, if you prefer a lighter breakfast, you can have either “Continental” style or cereals with fresh fruit. To maintain the prices as low as possible for you; the guest, the breakfast price does not include drinks. But at €1,50 for a mug of English tea or an Espresso Latte it’s not going to break the bank!

Check-in and breakfast is served at the sister Hotel Gabarda, 50 meters from Martinez.

The bar at Gabarda is open 24 hours per day.
