Tenerife is an island in the Atlantic belonging to the Canary Island Archipelago. Its climate and warm waters attract tourists all year round. Its volcanic origin is responsible for the exotic landscapes full of caves, craters, cliffs and a multitude of volcanoes at different heights ranging from sea level all the way to the 3,718 meters high Teide Volcano, one of the largest in the world. It has extensive beaches with rocky and black sands, all suitable for practicing different sports. Hiking is another great activity to do in the protected areas as well as paragliding and all other sorts of waterfront activities.
