Apartments in Mallorca: Accommodations with style

Mallorca is the biggest island in the Balearic Archipelago, located in the Mediterranean. The language spoken is Majorcan, a mix of Catalan and Spanish. The climate is warm in summer and moderately cold in winter. Tourism is the motor of its economy receiving more than 13 million tourists per year; as a result it has excellent services and infrastructure. The landscapes are so remarkable that in 1968, the movie "The Magus" with Anthony Quinn, Candice Bergen and Michael Caine was filmed in Portals Vells Cove, which was named after the movie. Not only does Mallorca have 128 beaches but there are also important mountain regions and sporting activities specific to this landscape. Another of the most compelling aspects is the cuisine of the Balearic Islands, which includes the Mallorcan fry-up, greixonera (traditional clay pot) with tumbet and, for dessert, the ensaimada. When it comes to regional festivals, they are celebrated all year round. So don't forget to rent one of our Mallorca apartments and let yourself get carried away.

Places to go in Mallorca

  • Muro Beach is located in the sandy Casetes de Capellans and is known for being a virgin beach. It's easily accessible and has an area of several kilometers that cannot be reached by car since it's part of the "Natural Area of Special Interest", in the S'Albufera Park with the name Es Comú de Muro.
  • Palma Nova has a kilometer long beach divided in half by a rock ledge that creates a unique image. It has been awarded with the Q of quality for its tourist services: Hotels, accommodations, restaurants, nightclubs and bars.
  • Sa Rápita, located on the southern coast of Mallorca 20 minutes from the Palma airport, is where the three most beautiful beaches of the island are found: Es Trenc, Sa Rápita beach and Ses Covetes beach. The marina is equipped with excellent installations and there is also a restaurant and bar on the edge of the beach from where you can admire the coastline in its entirety.
  • Villafranca de Bonany is a rural town in the center of the island. It has lots of agriculture, especially melons. In the surrounding areas you can find archaeological sites, of which the Talaiots de Castellot Vell stand out. We can also find the Santa Bárbara Church, the old building of Ca Ses Monges, the old windmill Molí Nou and the Pou Viguet well. Fresh products from the gardens will be the delight for vegans and vegetarians. And if you're into hiking, let me just say that there are plenty of options for you to enjoy
  • With a length of 1,750 meters, Cala Millor is one of the most pleasant places on the island to visit and to live in. The soft, white sandy beach and turquoise transparent sea is very inviting for those who love marine activities. And there's no need to worry, on the beach you can rent sun beds, parasols and paddleboats.
  • Cala Mendia is famous for its clean, crystalline water and fine white sand. For those who love to fish, this is the ideal spot.

  • The caves at Artá are located on a cliff on the path to Canyamel beach and are one of the biggest attractions that Mallorca has to offer. With huge limestone stalactites emerging from the ceiling, they are the product of the infiltration of rainwater that little by little dissolved the limestone and gave way to these magical structures; it's a sight you cannot miss. They can be photographed and there are also very good guided tours available.
  • Felanitx is a small city in the south of Mallorca, it's in the second wine and caper producing region. The Sant Salvador Sanctuary and the Santueri Castle stand out, which can be found at the top of the hill, and are an excellent lookout from which to view the sea.
  • Cala D'or is one of the first touristic urbanizations in Mallorca. Besides the narrow-mouthed white sandy beaches, there are plenty of other places of interest to visit, the Fort and Church as well as the Bélgica and Andrés Roig streets where you'll find everything you need.
  • Cala Figuera has an incredible landscape surrounded by cliffs, calm waters that go deep into the scenery and modest greenery. There are stone houses, white houses and rocky beaches ideal for diving and spearfishing.
  • Mal Pas-Bonaire is an exclusive town on the coast of Mallorca, with sunny villas, white sandy beaches, calm waters and four coves perfect for diving.
  • Magaluf has many bars and restaurants as well as a wide range of stores and nightclubs. The beach has sunbeds, parasols, paddleboats, jet skis and water skis.

  • Can Picafort was a small fishing town until 1970; thereafter it was converted into a dynamic tourist area where you can now see turtles, red pheasants, hares, rabbits and other local species.
  • One of the biggest attractions of Cala Bona are the Caves of Drach which have a large underground lake, considered the largest in the world . The entry fee for an adult is €14.50 while for children from 3 to 12 years old it's €7.50. There are gardens, a bar and a dining area.
