Apartments in Glasgow -- Affordable Holiday Rentals

Though it isn't Scotland's capital, Glasgow is its biggest city and has spiralled into a thriving metropolis in recent years. Impressive Victorian buildings flank narrow streets and the roads seem to hum with history. But in between all of this, you'll find a heady mix of trendy bars, nouveau restaurants, vibrant clubs, and an incredible live music scene. There's never a dull moment in Glasgow, what with its captivating urban backdrop and its friendly locals. Though its nightlife is second to none, there's still plenty to do during the day. Shopping enthusiasts can fall down the rabbit hole of boutique stores and fashion outlets, whilst culture vultures will feel right at home in the collection of great museums and galleries. Our apartments in Glasgow give you ample chance to explore the city by day as well as under the veil of darkness.

The Eclectic Nightlife in Glasgow

Glasgow is renowned for its vibrant nightlife, but it's not all super clubs and techno music. In fact, it has an eclectic mishmash of nightlife, so you're bound to find something that tickles your fancy.

If you want to delve into the heart of Scottish culture and experience a proper Celtic night, head to the Babbity Bowsters pub that's tucked away along the cobbles of Blackfriars Street. It's an old, traditional pub, filled with friendly faces, and it serves up an array of hearty Gaelic grub. Afterwards, knock back some whiskey and enjoy some ceilidh tunes.

For an all-round cultural experience that isn't just limited to Scottish traditions, grab a table at Blackfriars, an international gastropub that has a whole host of world beers on tap. Once you're refreshed, head downstairs for some dancing. Expect anything from soul music, to rock'n'roll hits and sultry tango music.

Classical music lovers should head to one of the city's concert halls. The Old Fruit Market is set beneath impressive cast-iron arches and is a renowned elegant concert hall, whilst the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall often holds performances from the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

Finally, if you want to explore the trendy nuances of the city, head to the Beer Café, one of the many fashionable cafes in Glasgow. Here, you can sip Belgian beers on the picturesque terraces and soak up the arty mix of carved furniture and stained glass windows.

Whatever kind of evening you're after, Glasgow has your back. From classical concerts and traditional Gaelic performances to trendy café culture and world music shows, there's a little something for everyone. Make sure you book one of our Glasgow apartments, so you have somewhere central and comfortable to rest your head.
