Whether it's a cultural adventure you're after or a simple week in the sun, our apartments in Gandia provide a comfortable, spacious place to rejuvenate and relax.

Exploring the Rich History of Gandia

At one point in time, Gandia was a hugely important part of Spanish history when it was a major player in the Borja dynasty. The Borgia family resided here during the Renaissance period and were one of the most infamous noble families of the time.

In addition to its past in the Renaissance period, Gandia was also an important cultural and commercial centre during the 15th and 16th centuries. During this time, it was a favourite hotspot of numerous poets and writers, including Joanot Martorell and many others.

The rich history of the city is still visible in many of its monuments and designs, particularly in the Ducal Palace , which was a major part of the Borja dynasty and now reflects the intricate designs and aesthetics of that time, as well as in Gandia Cathedral, a beautifully ornate building in the heart of the city.

Elsewhere, the Passeig de les Germaines offers a traditional look into Spanish life, with a collection of rustic fountains and a weekly market held every Saturday.

Most people don't know that Gandia is split into two parts, Gandia City and Gandia Playa. The beach is the touristic area, but head to the old town to really get to know the beating heart of Gandia's history. It's here that you'll find all the centuries-old monuments and statues, and explore the historic vibe that runs through this part of time. Our Gandia apartments can be found all over the city, giving you easy access to the historic sights.

In Gandia Playa, there are lots of high-rise resort hotels with pools and all-inclusive facilities, as well as seaside studio blocks that overlook the sea and are close to all the beachfront attractions. Then there are boutique apartments dotted throughout the city, surrounding all the major attractions, and offering an independent place to set down your stuff and start discovering the two different sides to Gandia.
