Apartments in Fuerteventura: The best in accommodation

Fuerteventura is an island of volcanic formation in the Canarias archipelago, located 97 kilometers north of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean. Its capital is Puerto del Rosario and its main activity is sustainable tourism. With a rugged geography formed by the erosion of volcanic rock, it has expansive stretches of beaches with white and black sand. The climate is dry and warm all year round, attracting visitors who enjoy the magnificent hotels and residences, bars, restaurants and cafes. While the greatest scenic attributes are the turquoise waters and Sahara desert sand that crosses the ocean to form the dunes, there are also interesting places of geological and anthropological interest. However if your taste is more orientated towards water sports or hiking through lunar landscapes, it's essential that you choose from our selection of Fuerteventura rental apartments, we guarantee you fun and relaxation.

What to do in Fuerteventura

  • Pájara is the biggest municipality on the island. Its most important locations include Solana Matorral, Morro Jable and Costa Calma. The Ajuy Monument is a striking geological site with fossil beds, the Caves of Ajuy and the Charcones de Ajuy. It also has interesting cuisine.
  • La Oliva is located in the north of the island and is known for the Natural Park of Corralejo with its sand dunes, the Natural Park of Islote de Lobos and the Tindaya Mountain, with its caves and halo of mysticism given to it by the native inhabitants. Its beaches are suitable for windsurfing, diving and surfing. To get to the Island of Lobos, you must buy a ticket that costs €12 for residents and €15 for non-residents.
  • Caleta De Fuste is sun, beach, leisure, culture, tradition, gastronomy and fun located only 7 km away from the airport.
  • Corralejo is a port with entertaining hiking tours through scenery that is reminiscent of science fiction films, with volcanic craters and rock of the same origin, reddish of color. To plan an original holiday climbing volcanoes or diving through crystalline waters, lease an apartment in Corralejo and enjoy the charm of being part of a small community.
  • The Costa Calma beach extends for 1.5 kilometers, at the north there are two smaller beaches where there are hotels and restaurants. At the south there are three beaches: Tindaya, H10 Esmeralda Beach and Esmeralda Beach. At the last two beaches there are great beach bars with inexpensive yet delicious seafood.
  • Pueto del Rosario is Fuerteventura's capital and its commercial, residential and cultural reference. At the Las Rotondas Shopping Center you can find more than one hundred stores to shop at. If you don't find what you're looking for then go over to the streets called Calle 1º de Mayo and Calle León y Castillo. The boardwalk is ideal for a stroll at any time of the day. The sculpture park with its 100 works of art is a taste of the island's open culture. The Casa Museo Unamuno is a tribute to the writer who lived there in exile in 1924.
  • The Jandia Peninsula is located in the furthest south part of the island, it was formed by volcanic eruptions that caused it to unite with Fuerteventura. It sits upon half of the volcanic crater while the other part has sunk into the sea, creating beautiful landscapes and some of the most exotic beaches in the world that make up the Natural Park of Jandia.

At any of the aforementioned places we have a wide range of rental apartments and we are sure our Fuerteventura apartments will be able to suit all tastes and budgets.

Only-Be as a "majorero"

Walk along Puerto Rosario's boardwalk until you reach the white sandy beaches and forget about everything else. Go for a swim to relax your muscles. Search out the beach bar called Caleta de Fuste and enjoy a menu with freshly prepared seafood. If it was really delicious, go and relax and at your Fuerteventura apartment and in the evening stroll through the Sculpture Park and play with the shadows cast by the setting sun. Don't forget that the night is young and you can find entertainment before Morpheus takes over your will, as it is the local custom to enjoy a bit of nightlife.

How to get to Fuerteventura

The airport , main access point of Fuerteventura, is located in El Matorral, 5 kilometers from Puerto Rosario. Capable of handling the huge influx of international tourists, it has connections to and from all the biggest cities in Europe.

Every half hour the buses leave the airport heading towards Puerto Rosario. There is also a good taxi service to the municipalities of Puerto Rosario, La Oliva and Antigua. You can also go by road and access the different towns on the island using the buses that leave from Puerto Rosario.
