Apartments in Fuengirola -- Cheap Places to Stay

Fuengirola sits snug on the coastline of Andalusia and has remained a popular tourist destination for decades. It boasts glorious beaches which sprawl out for 7km and are peppered with plush bars and laidback shore-side restaurants. Thanks to its large population of foreign residents, there is a friendly, multi-cultural vibe to Fuengirola, but it also harbours a fascinating and traditional history. It was once a quaint and important Spanish fishing quarter, and there are still remnants of this lifestyle visible in the old quarter of Los Boliches, where grizzly men fry up freshly caught fish in the street and bustling seafood markets pop up every weekend. Our apartments in Fuengirola place you right in the centre of all the action, just moments from the beach and the vibrant culture of the town.

Sun, Sea, and Sand - The Best Beaches in Fuengirola

Fuengirola is famed for its beach life, boasting a collection of great shore-side bars which line the white sands and crystal clear waters. El Ejido is one of the best beaches in the town. Situated near Sohail Castle, it boasts a wild backdrop with a handful of popular beach bars dotted around. Quieter than some of the other beaches in Fuengirola, it offers a dose of sophistication.

San Francisco beach is more central and sits next to the town's port. It's the perfect place for a family day out thanks to its great range of amenities. With the city's promenade running alongside it, it can get quite busy, but the sea is calm and it's a popular point for boarding the boat trips.

Las Gaviotas beach is one of the most popular beaches in the city, partly due to its collection of large, luxury hotels. Here, there are plenty of opportunities to try out some watersports, and there are a great range of beach bars, too.

If you're looking for something a little less crowded, head to Torreblanca beach, which sits to the east of the town. This stretch of sand is often less busy than the other, more central beaches, but it still has a great selection of facilities.

That being said, there are plenty of holiday apartments dotted around, giving you the chance to enjoy a more local experience.
