Finding Frankfurt -- Transport From the Airport to the City Centre

Frankfurt Airport is close to the city centre and is one of the busiest air hubs in Europe, which means there are plenty of ways you can easily get into town. The S-Bahn trains run direct from the airport to various hotspots around the city, with a journey time of less than half an hour. Alternatively, there are air shuttle buses that travel from all the terminals into the centre of the city. Otherwise, you can always hop in a taxi from the stands outside the airport, which offer a quick and relatively cheap way to get to your final destination.

Once you're in Frankfurt there are a number of public transport options that will help you get around the city. Public bus services are usually the best way to get to grips with the city, with major routes connecting up all the top attractions. It's also a great city to walk in, too, with plenty of great sights to see along the way. A lot of visitors choose to hire bikes and cycle through the city so they can immerse themselves in the local culture whilst being able to travel quickly from one hotspot to another.
