Getting In and Around Corfu

From Corfu airport there are many ways to get to your final destination. There are regular bus services that travel to the major resorts and towns, as well as transfer buses that stop off at major hotels and apartment blocks along the way. For something a little more personal you can hop in a taxi at the terminals, which offer cheap and enjoyable journeys with incredible views -- just remember to settle on a price before you leave.

Alternatively, you can hire a car from the airport and get to grips with the island in your own time. Having your own form of transport is great for exploring everything the island has to offer and really digging deep into the local lifestyle of small villages and towns. If you don't hire a car, though, there are plenty of buses that travel between all the major landmarks and attractions around the island.
