Getting to Benalmadena from the Airport

The closest airport to Benalmadena is Malaga Airport, which is easily reached by taxi. This is the most popular way to get from the airport into town as the journey only takes around 20 minutes and prices are relatively cheap. It's great if you have lots of luggage or want to get to dropped directly at your destination quickly and without hassle.

Alternatively, there is a bus service that travels from Malaga Airport to Benalmadena. The bus station can be found just outside the arrivals hall at the airport where buses leave every half an hour. This is the cheapest way to get to Benalmadena, although the journey takes around 1 hour so it's definitely not the quickest way.

Then there's the train service which runs from Malaga Airport to Benalmadena. The train runs through to Fuengirola along the coast but stops at a handful of tourist destinations on the way, including Benalmadena.
