Tunisia offers visitors exciting trips across the desert in specially equipped vehicles. Even so, a journey on the back of a camel is a fascinating experience and not to be missed. To discover more about Tunisian culture, one should visit the souks (the traditional markets) and some of the country's many interesting museums, or relax while drinking a cup of mint tea. Nothing, however, is more relaxing than a visit to a Hammam, or Turkish bath, which leaves you refreshed and renewed. Water sports are a major part of the Tunisian tourist industry, thanks to the beautiful beaches of Bizerte, Hammam, Korba, Hammamet, Sousse Zarzis and Djerba Island, where you can go diving, windsurfing, water skiing or sailing.
