Finland is known as the "Land of a Thousand Lakes." Its wonderful natural attractions, with forests and lakes as well as a beautiful capital, make it an ideal holiday destination. In the far north, the white nights (during which the sun doesn't set) last for about ten weeks in summer, turning the country into a paradise for sailing, fishing and hiking enthusiasts.
