Apartments in Marbella -- Cheap Boutique Rentals

Set along the sprawling sands of the Costa del Sol, Marbella is a glitzy, glamorous resort that's a regular haunt of the rich and famous. The fame and fortune peaks along the Golden Mile, a lengthy strip of top-notch clubs, restaurants, and luxury hotels that run alongside the shimmering waters of the Mediterranean. It's not just sumptuous charm that Marbella oozes, though. In fact, it boasts an incredible natural landscape, too, surrounded by the beautiful Sierra Blanca mountains and centred around a historic old town. The resort's rich history is woven through many eras and reigns, and, during the Moorish times, it was the most important hub along this stretch of the Spanish coastline. Join the glamorous set with our apartments in Marbella and soak up the glitzy lifestyle that goes hand in hand with this part of the Costa del Sol.

Hit the Beach in Marbella

Marbella is a popular destination for sun-seekers, with a whole host of glistening beaches perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Nagueles Beach is the most popular, situated on the Golden Mile. You'll find plenty of families building sandcastles here, as well as holidaymakers looking to try out some of the local water sports, including windsurfing and jet skiing.

La Fontanilla Beach is slightly quieter and can be found next to Marbella's Leisure Port. The beach is peppered with sunbeds and parasols, and there are plenty of top-notch restaurants dotted along the sand.

In the centre of Marbella, there's El Faro Beach, which boasts two delicious beach-side restaurants, as well as a number of free children's games dotted around.

La Venus Beach and La Bajadilla Beach are two more popular options, both with sunbeds and a selection of local restaurants.

We have a great selection of Marbella apartments dotted along and around these beaches, giving you easy access to the soft sands and calm waters.

Marbella Accommodation

Because of its glamorous status and its popularity as a beach destination, Marbella accommodation predominantly consists of luxury resorts, but there are also a collection of quaint guesthouses and smaller hotels peppered throughout the city's old town. There are plenty of top-notch hotels set along the Golden Mile, as well as affordable boutique apartments dotted around all the major attractions and beaches.

The Shopping Scene in Marbella

Marbella is a shopaholic's heaven, with plenty of designer boutiques, local artisan stores, and fashion outlets to explore. The main high street is awash with clothes shops, whilst the quaint laneways of the old town are filled with cute gift shops perfect for picking up souvenirs in.

If you're on the hunt for some designer labels, head straight to Puerto Banus where you'll find a whole host of sleek shops like Chloe, Versace, Roberto Cavalli, and La Perla that all look out across the futuristic yachts in the marina. There's also a popular shopping complex here, where you can wander through high street shops, browse the collection of independent art galleries, and sip coffee in one of the many trendy cafes.

Alternatively, you can make your way to the La Canada complex, which boasts almost 300 stores, cafes, restaurants, and bars. There's even a cinema and a ten-pin bowling alley if you get bored of the shops at any point.

Making Your Way to Marbella from Malaga Airport

Malaga Airport is the closest arrivals hub to Marbella, and it's really easy to get from there into the city. The cheapest and easiest way to travel is to hop on the local bus that runs from the airport to Marbella's bus station. It'll take you all along the coast, giving you a glimpse of the spectacular scenery that surrounds the resort.

Alternatively, you can grab a taxi from the airport from one of the many stands. The journey is quick and relatively cheap, but it's good to agree on a price before you set off.

Finally, a lot of people opt to hire a car from Malaga Airport and drive into Marbella. This gives you the chance to discover the region at your own pace, and it's always handy to have a car during your trip so you can explore the surrounding towns and cities.
