Apartments in Denia -- City Centre Accommodation

Denia is a major passenger port located at the Valencian community and it is very near the Balearic Islands, offering a heavy dose of laidback Spanish lifestyle amongst the hustle and bustle of tourism. The quaint old town sits against a small hill topped with a rustic castle , providing a beautiful backdrop to the winding laneways and cute squares. Throughout the centre, the streets hum with activity, from shoppers ducking in and out of artisan stores and local shops, to revellers enjoying the mix of traditional restaurants and lively bars. To the north of Denia, sprawling sandy beaches offer a stunning setting to soak up the sun against, whilst rocky coves to the south paint a wild and rugged picture. We have a selection of apartments in Denia that can be found throughout the hodgepodge streets of the old town and look out over the spectacular beaches and beyond.

Beaches and Beautiful Scenery - Things to do in Denia

  • Denia's beautiful beaches -- The town has some of the cleanest beaches in Europe, which are perfect for swimming and sunbathing. From sprawling sandy shores to cliff-studded coves, there's a little something for everyone. Many of the beaches are lined with delicious restaurants and laidback bars, and there are plenty of water sports and sailing opportunities.
  • Denia's Castle -- Dating back to the 11th century, Denia's castle forms the focal point of the city, sitting proud at the top of the surrounding hills. Part of the castle was destroyed during the raids and attacks of the Spanish War of Succession, but much of it is still intact to explore. As well as delving into the past of Denia, the castle also boasts incredible views across the old town and the coastline.
  • Toy Museum -- Showing a collection of dolls that Denia was once famed for producing, the Toy Museum is a haven for vintage lovers and younger members of the family. There are plenty of displays from the early 20th century, including wooden and metal toys and dolls from the 30s.
  • Mount Montgo Natural Park -- Set just a few minutes outside of Denia itself, this picturesque natural park is home to an eclectic selection of flora and fauna. As well as numerous birds like owls, ravens, and eagles, keep your eyes peeled for badgers, genets, and rabbits, too.
  • Pego-Oliva Marjal Natural Park -- This wetland can be found to the north of Denia and is home to beautiful scenery and some unusual caves. Here, you can spot all kinds of wildlife, from native bird species to larger mammals.
  • Museum of Ethnology -- Set in the centre of Denia, this museum takes visitors back through the timeline of the town's rich past and focuses on the importance of raisin production in the 19th century.

Though Denia is a fairly quiet town, there is still plenty to see and do, from historic monuments and architecture, to beautiful national parks and an excellent selection of beaches, bars, and restaurants. Our Denia apartments are dotted all around the town, so you'll be able to find plenty to do right on your doorstep.

Enjoy the Traditional Spanish Lifestyle in Denia

Denia is still a very traditional Spanish town, with beautiful Spanish architecture, buzzing squares lined with restaurants and bars, and a timetable that's strictly Spanish. As well as plenty of tapas bars dotted throughout town that serve small bites to eat alongside drinks, there are numerous other ways you can get to know the age-old Spanish culture.

Seeing a Flamenco performance is not only a fun way to experience one of Spain's most cultural aspects, but it also provides the perfect way to pass an evening. Though you'll be able to find a range of Flamenco performances throughout town, particularly on a weekend night, Condado is one of the best places to go. Whilst you're watching a traditional Flamenco show you can tuck into a delicious multi-course Spanish meal. The backdrop is beautiful, too, made from a renovated building that oozes Spanish charm.

Our Denia apartments provide the perfect way to integrate into the traditional Spanish lifestyle. You can explore at your own pace with plenty of great things to see and do right at your fingertips.
