Apartments in Cambrils – Accommodation in Cambrils

Cambrils is a city in Catalonia belonging to the province of Tarragona. It has a gentle, mild climate all year round and is located in the middle of the Costa Dorada , surrounded by hills and mountains such as the Argentera, Mussara and Llaberí, drawing a beautiful landscape that flows into the Mediterranean Sea. Cambrils has more than 10 km of beaches with fine golden sand and good services, backed by seals of international tourism. It has a beautiful promenade from where you can enjoy unparalleled views of the waterfront. Its forests and parks are composed of many types of trees and shrubs, such as the pine and carob trees. These trees provide cool shade on the hot summer days. There are also native groves of olive and cork trees that give the feel of the typical green Mediterranean landscape. The origin of the village of Cambrils came from a fortified site, close to the royal road from Barcelona to Valencia, the ancient Roman Via Agusta. In recent centuries, due to the union of the two nuclei (the Marina and the inner village) the population expanded into a large urban center. The boost of tourism contributed to this urban transformation, and its economic foundation went from being based on fishing and agriculture to tourism and trade services. Among its other attractions, Cambrils has turned into the destination for bicycle tourism enthusiasts. The whole region has facilities for practicing this sport, such as parking, bike lanes, etc. You can find different itineraries adapted to the different levels for professionals, amateurs, or for those who just like to train. If you enjoy cycling, check out our selection of Cambrils apartments and find a great resting spot for after a heavy day of sport.
