El Prat Airport is located 12km to the South West of Barcelona with a variety of different transport options connecting it to the city centre. You can take the A1 or A2 bus from the airport to Plaza España and Plaza Cataluña. You can hop in one of the numerous taxis outside the airport, which take between 10 and 15 minutes to reach the centre, or you can opt to take the designated train which travels from the airport to Barcelona Sants Station every half an hour. From there, you are well connected to other parts of the city via the extensive and easy-to-use metro system.

You can also get to Barcelona from other Spanish and French cities via the large and reliable cross-country train services. Most routes terminate at Barcelona Sants, where you can then branch out to other parts of the city via the metro, buses, or taxis.

Getting around Barcelona is a piece of cake. It has large network of metro stations dotted around the city that connect all the major hotspots. Alternatively, there are several bus and tram services running along the Diagonal and to other parts of the city, as well as efficient train networks.
